| About Scales Lake Park Scales Lake Park is located northeast of the Boonville Square and offers a variety of activities, such as both hiking & bicycle trails. We also provide various sporting interests, including fishing, boat rentals, volleyball, and swimming. Our lake does have lifeguards for the swimming area when in season. Scales Lake Park offers both Primitive and water and electric campsites. We also offer full hook-up sites that have water, electric, & sewer. To accommodate the "Big Rig's" we do have 50-AMP service. The modern shower house is complete with laundry facilities. Unisex facilities for handicapped persons, are in a separate section of the bath house, making it easier for persons in a wheelchair to bathe. Our T.D. Scales Pavilion is perfect for family gatherings, wedding receptions, company picnics, and holiday parties. Up to 299 visitors can enjoy a large multi-use area complete with meeting room, kitchen, and wide balcony overlooking a private finger of the lake. The pavilion is also handicapped accessible, as is most of the park. Our Cabins are nestled among the trees overlooking the lake. Each cabin has two bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room, and a deck facing the lake. One of our cabins is handicap accessible. The cabins are air conditioned and heated and rented year round. |
